Sometimes my day job gets in the way of my photography and sometimes those two worlds collide. These past two days have been one of those magical moments, a quick flight to San Francisco for a client meeting and a ball game, no big deal. I'm lucky to been able to captured the feel of moment.
I was fortunate to spend some time capturing all the love, joy and beauty in this special family. Baby girl, Ella is the sweetest. She has a brightness about her, but its not to hard to see where she gets it from. I think the best part is she already loves the camera. I can't wait to work with her again :)
I'm lucky to have grown up spending my summers at the lake with my cousins (who all happen to be my best friends). I'm even luckier my kids get to grow up doing the same thing. Labor day weekend at the lake has become a little tradition. These are the moments and memories I want my children to remember, just like I do.
A family after my own heart, these guys were a blast to capture. Two young kids constantly in motion, which meant I was constantly in motion. (lots of soccer, running, walking, swinging and waving) But we managed to slow down by the end of the session for a little bit of ice cream. :) But if you don't believe me, take a look for yourself.
The beach is amazing. I love taking photos there. The light is always great and its easy to compose great shots with all the negative space around. It's a refreshing and calming break from the busy day-to-day. Here are a few of my favorites from my most recent vacation.
